Tips that could save you money!!
Before you call for service, check the following items first:
1. Is the circuit breaker tripped or in the OFF position?
It can be reset by moving it to the OFF position then back to ON.
2. Are the switches on indoor and outdoor units in the ON position?
3. Is the thermostat in the cool or heat position and at desired temperature?
4. If thermostat is battery powered, ensure battery is good.
5. If your A/C unit is freezing over, ensure the filter is clean and nothing is blocking the return air opening.
6. If you are having trouble with a circuit that has anything to do with the bathroom, kitchen or outdoor receptacles, check to see if the GFCI has tripped.
